As a counselling psychologist, I create a safe space where
difficulties can be thought about and understood in a non-judgmental
way. I do not pathologise human difficulties.

I have extensive work experience (over 10 years) of working in the
NHS, the charity sector, as a university lecturer and as a clinical

I work with adults with a wide range of difficulties such as
depression, anxiety, relationship issues, work related stress and
childhood trauma.

I have a special interest in transgenerational trauma and women’s
health and have been working with women during the transition into
motherhood, women who experienced difficulties conceiving or
experienced pregnancy loss. I am also interested in immigration and
identity, and in working with individuals who experience difficulties
to form and maintain intimate relationships with others.

I work integratively drawing on psychodynamic and relational theories
which consider how early childhood relationships inform your way of
relating in adult life. Additionally, I draw on
existential-phenomenological perspectives which focus on the way that
you create meaning and the way your thinking about the future affects
your present living.

I am also trained in CBT which I may integrate to help you cope better
with a current difficulty, after a deeper understanding has emerged in

Qualification : I am a chartered counselling psychologist (CPsychol.)
I am registered with the British Psychological Society and the Health
and Care Professions Council.
