What the Research into Reality Therapy Says
Research has illustrated that the use of Virtual Reality Therapy (VRT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) did not differ significantly in the treatment and improvement of reducing anxiety in a sample of people with social phobia. Further research has demonstrated positive outcomes when using VRT to treat people with specific anxiety problems and phobias such as the fear of flying.
