Philosophy

For me, each individual has a unique journey to explore, appreciate and celebrate. I am passionate about getting to know new people, listening to them and their unique stories. I describe my role as a fresh pair of eyes with theoretical knowledge and a compassionate soul to join you on this unique journey of healing.

Approach

My journey as a little explorer has started from a very early time before my professional psychology career begins. Through my professional training journey for more than 15 years, I have studied many models and theoretical approaches.

These approaches help me to build my toolbox as a psychotherapist. With the help of my professional experience, I harmonised my knowledge to create my own approach. What fascinates me most about psychology is that it thrives every day in line with scientific research to fulfil our contemporary needs as human beings. The third wave of psychology (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) brings us more and more insight into our human nature, and it provides us with the skills and techniques to have a broader understanding of that nature. Besides these third wave approaches and techniques, I also love using creative counselling techniques, using prompts, solid materials, physical activity, analogies, and metaphors as a way of expressing myself and exploring my client’s uniqueness.

Motivation

I am a natural listener and a lifelong explorer. It always fascinates me to hear about the wisdom of every client of mine. From my point of view, psychotherapy is the art of bringing this wisdom to the light together. I am pleased to say that I have the theoretical knowledge and skills along with plenty of experience to help you on this wise journey.
